The soft pillows introduce Indigenous culture into any classroom with their authentic artworks. This floor polyester plush cushion measures 40 x 40cm and features soft memory foam padding and has a removable outer cover, it has a thickness of 4cm. The cover is machine washable in cold water.
This colourful cushion depicts the “Three Rivers” by Bundjalung Artist Steven Bekue. Steven is a Bundjalung and Bidjara man. He has been painting for four years and his artwork consist of animals and landscapes from my Country which is made up of dots and lines with acrylic paint. This artwork “Three Rivers” depicts the Tweed River, Currumbin Creek and Tallebudgera Creek. The three rivers are the water ways where Steven was taught by his family to catch fish, crabs and go oystering, now he is doing the same with his family. The Three Rivers are on Bundjalung country.
